"It’s great that you guys are interested in Ada and the Cardano project! My name is John O’Connor and I am Head of Communications at the Cardano Foundation. It's a very exciting time for us right now as we publicly launched Cardano on Friday and today began trading on Bittrex. I would however like to address some posts in this thread which suggest that Cardano is a ‘scam’ and/or ‘pyramid scheme’.

IOHK have a global team of leading scientists, academics and researchers working on the Cardano project.

Cardano’s PoS, Ouroboros stands out as the first proof of stake algorithm that is provably secure, meaning that it offers security guarantees that are mathematically proven. Ouroboros is also the first cryptographic protocol to be peer reviewed at the world's top cryptography conference, Crypto 2017. Remember when Antshares/NEO was  0,10$ or 0,20$ ?
And everybody used to say "Ohh it's just a shitcoin from China, you know..."

Well the price itself does not say very much. It also depends on the total number of coins and Cardano has much more than NEO. So the marketcap of Cardano now is over 500 mln and therefore rather unlikely to give very high returns.

Thanks for yous links but I don't have time to read everything through. I'm for the moment especially interested in just a few facts:

- was this an ICO? If yes, how much was raised? What was the ICO price of 1 ADA coin?

If I know those things depending on the answer I will do further research on my own and actually work through your links.

And their website has many words but little substance for investors - imho at least.

that's also what I wanted to see how come that the coin was already inside trex without any noise here inside the forum, I'm very interested on
how this coin started and whos the investors that taking advantage by now, for sure they are enjoying from what its showing by now, lets keep
watching and maybe buying a little will make us rich from this project.
