The Einsteinium Foundation has a mission to raise funds for scientific research, our mining tax creates a pool of funds that provide
grants to deserving applicants. Recently we integrated crowd funding into the process to likely enable the grant beneficiary to
receive more funds than we could immediately supply. This enables us to market the project, our coin, our sponsor items, and the
benefits of cryptocurrency to a wider audience.

So far the Foundation has contributed 16M of EMC2 coins for science projects.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Nope, thats correct.

Also, I can confirm it wasnt premined, I started when there was 2 blocks mined.

Blocks that show up in your wallet when mining then disappear are orphans, correct?  Also, is there a way to reduce them?

Donation to The Einsteinium Charitable Fund (per block)   2%
To Faucets, give-aways and marketing (per block)   0.5%
Premine   NONE

So the true premine is 2.5%.
