Transaction export in CSV, PDF update

The transaction export feature has been a part of the Wallet for a while now, but in this release, we have made it a little bit better. Now you can choose the format of exported transactions, either in CSV or generated as a PDF file. You can also decide what to export, by filtering your transaction history using the search function.

Simply click on export to generate the file with your desired filter. By default, every transaction for a selected account will be exported.

Updated fiat currency API

Some of you might have noticed that on one day in May the fiat conversion rates have suddenly stopped working. This was caused by the exchange rate provider, as they changed the API. We have immediately started working on deploying a quick fix and restored the conversion estimate to USD, but other fiat currencies remained unavailable.

Today, we are happy to announce that we have made other fiat currencies available again. We switched the exchange rate provider to Coinmarketcap, meaning many of you will see a more commonly seen exchange rate.

Bitcoin Cash: Cashaddr

As Trezor devices will now support cashaddr, Trezor Wallet also follows suit. To continue using Bitcoin Cash, you will need to update your firmware on your device. The Trezor Wallet will warn you as you try to access your BCH wallet without an up-to-date firmware.

Please keep in mind that Trezor Wallet and Trezor devices will display BCH addresses without the prefix. If needed, prepend the bitcoincash: prefix manually.

This was done due to length constraints — to fit the entire address in Trezor One’s display. We also wanted the address shown on the device and the address in Trezor Wallet to be identical, for easier verification.

Much Doge. So Wow.

In Trezor Wallet. YES. ‘nuff said.

Vertcoin support in Trezor Wallet

Apart from Dogecoin as the newly supported cryptocurrency in Trezor Wallet interface, we have also added Vertcoin. As it is a bitcoin-like coin, all operations will be similar to the other currencies you have been using in the Wallet. Please make sure your firmware is up-to-date before switching to Vertcoin in the UI.

Small updates

Together with major improvements to the Trezor Wallet, we have also deployed updates on the background along with more modest additions. The Wallet app was further optimized and prepared for other upgrades that will come in the subsequent releases. You can expect new convenient and useful features right in the Wallet app soon!

Regarding smaller updates:

  • We have disabled non-ASCII characters in device name, as Trezor devices can’t display them.
  • We have updated new logos and homescreens, available from your device settings.
