Read moreI can only agree with the previous poster. Stay away from this company, it's a scam. Their website says that they specialize in international marriages between Japanese and non Japanese people, but this is a lie. They are just a middleman for one of Japan's biggest marriage searching websites "IBJS". They sign you up there for a ridiculous fee of more than 1000 Euros and then they make you pay 100 Euros monthly in order to stay registered. You have to sign a contract and stay registered for 12 months, otherwise they will charge you a penalty fee and if you don't pay that, they will sue you. To be fair, it does clearly state this in the contract you have to sign, but nowhere does it say that they're just a middleman and that they will sign you up for a normal Japanese marriage website, not a website where Japanese women are specifically looking to marry foreigners. If you're a foreigner, especially one that currently doesn't live in Japan, your chances of meeting a woman interested in you are almost 0, because 99.9% of women there look for a local Japanese husband. The 0.1% of women open to meeting, or even marrying a foreigner are, let's just say not the best looking ones, and are mostly either desperate middle aged ones, or just someone who wants to get an EU visa.
I could've signed up for that website myself, without the ridiculous extra fees and contract. I've been on that platform for 2 months now, have sent over 50 requests to meet women over a zoom meeting and I only got two that accepted me. Everyone else literally declines me inside 24 hours. I'm average looking and have a decent salary and job, even for Japanese standards.
I honestly think I will just ignore every invoice they sent me for now, good luck suing me in an EU country all the way from Japan. 12 times 100 Euros a month is not worth it to sue over from a foreign country and I doubt the contract is even legal in the country I currently resign in.
It's a joke how they lie on their website and how much they charge for a registration to a website that's completely useless to non Japanese people. Nowhere do they even mention that they are just a middleman for IBJS, I'm sure this is even illegal under Japanese law. No idea how this company is allowed to operate, but it looks like it's a very small company with only two employees. They have 0 reviews and engagement on social media and their Google reviews are turned off. So this website (which also isn't really popular by itself) is the only website on the entire internet where you can leave a review of them. I don't know why I missed those clear red flags, because I'm usually tech literate and never fell for any scams until now.
But like I said, I won't pay a single invoice anymore and they should be banned to operate by law, unless they change the wording o their website and openly state that they're just a middleman for a normal Japanese marriage website and not a "specialist agency in international marriage".
