Partnership Announcement: The Sandbox ft. Opera
We are excited to announce our partnership with Opera, the first web browser with an integrated crypto wallet!
Opera is a well-known technology brand with 350 million users worldwide that has been striving to make Web 3 more mainstream starting with the creation of a built-in crypto wallet in their browser in December 2018. Since then, Opera has been updating their browser and integrating new features in relation to Web 3.
With Opera’s browser integration of blockchain technology, their users now have the ability to send and receive Bitcoin directly from the browser. They can also make transactions and add a Bitcoin or TRON card into their built-in crypto wallet.
At The Sandbox, we want to enable a mobile-friendly option for the game in which our users could access their map, digital ASSETS and LANDS. This is something that we will try to develop with Opera.
Through this partnership, The Sandbox will be listed among the featured dApps on Opera’s dApp store. One of our plans is to have users be able to interact with The Sandbox thanks to Opera’s technology. Together, we will work towards building a better blockchain service with smoother and faster transactions.
Additionally, Opera was also a part of our Round 2 of LAND presale and have a dedicated space to create a special environment for its community.
