The Sandbox Game Maker
Game Maker Fund
We are happy to announce the creation of the Game Maker Fund, our exclusive program that will reward the first 100 original game proposals that get accepted. Yes, you read that right: we’re offering free exposure for the games you create in The Sandbox, one of the most anticipated blockchain games of 2019.
The Fund will be used to reward and incentivize Game Crafters to submit unique experiences. Don’t worry if you have more than one great idea: there is no limit on the number of proposals that each candidate can submit!

Alpha version: Artist’s creations
Now that we’ve finished integrating the marketplace with our game maker, the artists that joined us through the creator fund are experiencing its early internal version — and are creating amazing dioramas with the available assets that they are uploading themselves on The Sandbox Marketplace.
The available tools developed to provide players intuitive ways to terraform and modify LAND in order to create game experiences and dioramas are now in the hands of the artists behind the creation of assets for The Sandbox Metaverse. We’re looking into the feedback from new artists and creators to keep improving it and developing more features to give creators the freedom to create as they see fit and share their experiences with everyone.
Marketplace
The Sandbox Map
Following with the release of the dashboard, and alongside the dozens of new design improvements to provide a better experience for players, we began working on the specifics of The Sandbox map, which will soon be available for our upcoming LAND presale. This will provide users a way to choose from the thousands of virtual parcels available in The Sandbox Metaverse.
The Sandbox map will contain thousands of LANDs during our sales rounds for you to choose from. This will allow you to create amazing game experiences, place your assets, and expand your available terrain from the map as you make use of the possible combinations of LAND to create bigger parcels (estates).
Presale events
Being one of the most important releases to our gaming platform, the implementation of blockchain into our Marketplace is the big next step in the direction of a decentralized, community-driven platform where creators can monetize their voxel assets and gaming experiences on the blockchain.
While our blockchain architects and developers are polishing the smart contracts that will serve for the various uses of our gaming platform while providing the option to adopt future technologies, such as ERC-1155, you can register your wallet and get whitelisted for our future presale events.

As we’ve polished the new tools and features to provide artists and creators animations within our VoxEdit voxel editor the past months, the addition of essential and intuitive features to allow creators to create amazing voxel assets is a constant objective of our development team.
