jed, so sorry to hear that. it looks like you are permanently breaking ties with ripple labs. i, for one, was hoping you would be back in the company taking the helm.
anyway, thanks for being transparent with us and good luck with your new BTC project.
and thanks for everything.
P.S. i hope this isn't a troll, because i would look like a total idiot in front of eveyone.

Thank you for your support. you guys are great.
Of course. ;-)
Wish I had the skills to contribute to future projects (heavy sigh).
And I guess when the Eagle sh.ts (monthly military pension check) on the 1st, I'll be doing a little more?...
Cheers,

What a way to wake up
But at last I managed get my XRP sold. Hard to get them sold via Ripple wallet. Transfered them and sold them to a fair price at Justcoin where people doesn't yet seem to know about Jed selling...
Not funny, but a fine gesture by Jed to tell us first. Thanks Jed!

What's the problem? Won't change the technology. OK one lesser (smaller) option to fund operations for RL But then what? Setting up Ripple for FIs, Fidor being first but for sure not last, will generate more than enough revenues on services. And once Ripple is taking of, those 9B will be just a bit more then a ripple in the ocean... I think it will rather turn out as an extended chance for those who want to invest in the next big thing. That's not a problem. That's an opportunity. And not only for the investment. It will prevent Ripple from the same Bitcoin mistakes and will keep them a lot more focused on development of the technology. Valuation and value storage will follow, with or without this sell off. The only loosing here will be short term XRP-investors (including Jed), not Ripple or RL ...

Cool!! That means the price will go lower
1$ = 500 XRP... Who knows?
Thanks for letting us know your intentions. And Good luck Jed!

When i go here: https://keybase.io/verify and paste his comment I get: Error: hash mismatch
Can any one confirm it is checked and verified?

posted the message and the link of this thread in the official forum where people can verify if the PGP key is indeed Jed's.

I saw that too. I'm always skeptical until there is concrete proof.

Which gateway are you selling your XRPs from?
I'm asking because If I try to get it from sites like rippleunion there's a big markup

The poster (doubt it's Jed) is referring to this person. Seems a bit aged
To be honest I can't remember Jed ever using an identity not exposing his own picture.
